Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or electrical engineering technology.
6+ years of experience in control systems, manufacturing, or consulting-design environments with commissioning experience.
Proficient in automation project tasks including design, client coordination, and bid package preparation.
Skills in control panel and network design, instrument selection, and control system programming.
Proficiency with AutoCAD for control panel design and electrical construction packages.
Hands-on experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the design of automation projects, developing specifications for control panels, networks, and software (Rockwell PLCs/SCADA).
Translate processes into detailed construction packages for control panels and electrical scopes.
Mentor and supervise project team members to enhance collaboration and execution.
Provide lifecycle support including system design, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
Perform site surveys and hands-on support during installation of control systems.
Ensure compliance with UL508A and NEC standards.
Engage in diverse projects to grow engineering and project management skills.
Travel 20–40% as project requirements dictate; initial site visits 1–3 days, commissioning 1–4 weeks.
