Job Description Senior Controls Engineer: Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Saginaw, MI on a full-time basis. General Motors is looking to add a Senior Controls Engineer (CE) on a rotating shift! The CE will manage projects while supporting daily manufacturing operations within a team environment. In this role work will be of technical nature with decisions made within the limits of general practices, policies and standards meeting required safety guidelines. Work will involve complex manufacturing problems including the need to troubleshoot and follow issues to resolve. The CE will be responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process. Substantial independent judgment in complex or unusual situations is typical in this role. The CE also may be responsible for training others and assigning work to a small group of employees.
Location: Saginaw, MI. This role is categorized as onsite and expects the selected candidate to report to a specific location on a full‑time basis. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
