Job summary

Abbott in Sylmar, CA is seeking an experienced design engineer to work under general direction, guiding and checking the work of other design engineers. The role focuses on designing new products and processes and improving existing ones within the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.

You will conduct design analyses to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability and reliability, coordinate with other engineering personnel to drive projects, and provide technical guidance as an internal consultant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• Associates degree or equivalent required.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
