Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Controller Quality Principal Engineer to lead quality strategy and improvement for storage and memory controllers (ASIC/SoC) across Micron’s SSD, embedded, and storage solutions.

The role collaborates across ASIC Development, Product Engineering, Dependability, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain with global partners. The position can be based in Taiwan, Hyderabad, or San Jose and involves time-zone coordination, with focus on supplier qualification, quality

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Eng, Materials Science, or related field.
12+ years in semiconductor quality, supplier quality or reliability.
Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies and quality tools (SPC/DOE/Weibull/Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end quality strategy for ASIC/SoC suppliers from qualification to end-of-life.
Drive supplier qualification programs including risk assessments and PFMEA/DFMEA.
Lead 8D and CAPA to resolve quality, reliability, manufacturing, and field issues.
Establish and improve supplier quality metrics (DPPM, yield, reliability, RMAs).
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to mitigate risk.
