Job summary

A rapidly growing managed service provider in Texas is seeking a Controller to manage the accounting cycle independently. The role demands a decisive and precision-focused accounting professional with expertise in financial reporting and compliance management. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in accounting, strong Excel skills, and a background in service-based businesses. Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting or controller-type role.
• Experience in service-based business accounting; MSP or technology industry experience a plus.
• Proven ability to manage the full accounting cycle with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow; manage A/P and A/R.
• Track fixed asset acquisitions and depreciation.
• Produce accurate financial statements monthly.
• Manage tax deadlines, lender reporting, and internal controls.
