Job summary

Bryan Research & Engineering, LLC seeks an experienced Controller to oversee accounting for a group of family-owned businesses in Bryan, Texas. The role includes managing AP/AR, payroll tax compliance, and financial statement preparation, with a focus on improving procedures and systems.

Qualifications

• BBA in Accounting or degree in accounting is required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare financial statements for interested parties.
• Manage payroll tax obligations and compliance.
• Evaluate accounting system upgrades and software needs.
• Maintain cash flow projections and inter-entity cash movements.
• Ensure integrity of financial records and accounting procedures.
• Oversee tax reporting for sales and property taxes.
