Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group seeks a Controller (CPA) with Sage 300 experience to lead all financial operations for a growing middle‑market company in Dallas. This full‑time, on‑site role partners with executive leadership to strengthen reporting accuracy and operational discipline.

Key duties include GL, AP/AR, payroll, month‑end close, GAAP reporting, internal controls, budgeting, cash management, audits, and Sage 300 optimization.

Qualifications

• CPA license required and active.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience overseeing audits with external CPA firms.
• Sage 300 ERP expertise and reporting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and financial policies.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Manage cash flow planning and banking relationships.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Optimize Sage 300 ERP functionality and reporting.
• Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy and growth initiatives.
