Job summary

Murgado Automotive Group is seeking a Senior Controller to provide financial leadership across its Miami Campus and multi-store network. The role focuses on close, reporting, and strong control environments to drive profitability.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in automotive dealership accounting, GAAP expertise, and leadership capabilities. Tekion experience is preferred; opportunities span growth and cross-location impact in a dynamic, multi-brand setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Controller or Senior Controller in a multi-store environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, OEM accounting, floorplan financing, and dealership operations.
• Proven leadership, communication, and process improvement skills.
• Tekion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and oversee reconciliations.
• Manage and develop dealership accounting teams.
• Partner with General Managers to improve profitability and control expenses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with OEM requirements, audits, and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and reporting automation using Tekion and Excel.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controller to provide financial leadership, strengthen controls, and support operational performance across multiple dealerships at our Miami Campus.
