Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Control Systems Engineering Senior Engineer to lead the execution of DCS, instrumentation, and process analyzer scopes for oil & gas, refining, and petrochemical projects. You will collaborate with leaders, engineers, and clients to ensure design alignment and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, EIT, and 5+ years in related fields, with strong communication and documentation skills. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 3+ years in industrial oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries.
• 3+ years in technical control systems and/or instrumentation engineering (total 5+ years).
• EIT certification required.
• Experience with process control specifications and control system design.
• Experience with managing suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the detail engineering execution project phase.
• Interact with leadership, engineers, designers, document control, procurement, and clients as required.
• Execute the engineering design per specifications and standards.
• Create requisitions for engineered items and develop spare parts lists.
• Review supplier documentation for accuracy and PO compliance.
• Communicate technical and commercial issues to lead engineer for changes.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete.
