Job summary

Woodside Energy seeks a Control Room Operator to optimize the production system safely, efficiently, and with minimal environmental impact. Responsibilities include operating production and injection wells, processing equipment, and safety systems in a demanding offshore setting.

The role requires at least 4 years in hydrocarbons as a control room operator, strong teamwork, and ability to work on high platforms and in helicopter transfers. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate, Technician’s Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 4+ years’ experience in hydrocarbons as a control room operator.
• Ability to work on high platforms and in offshore environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and injection wells, separation vessels, and gas compression.
• Monitor safety and control systems; ensure safe operation and permit-to-work compliance.
• Prepare reports, handover notes and performance/compliance testing of wells.
• Coordinate with engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to optimize asset performance.
