VaCom is seeking a skilled Panel Fabricator to collaborate with the panel shop and supervisor on layouts and wiring per approved schematics. You will perform as-built mark-ups, verify components against the BOM, and support standardization and continuous improvement in fabrication processes.

The role requires reading electrical diagrams, wiring panels up to 480 V, and lifting up to 50 pounds with proper PPE in a manufacturing setting. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Competenze

• Able to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Wiring low voltage to 480 V, 22 AWG to 500 MCM wire.
• 5+ years of panel building experience.
• 5+ years of electrical installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Willing to wear PPE on manufacturing floor.

• Panel wiring conforms to NEC, NFPA 70E, UL 508A standards.
• Panel layouts match the designs.
• Verify wiring diagrams and components used.
• Update drawings from fabrication modifications to engineering.
• Minimize fabrication time while maximizing quality.
• Meet panel fabrication and testing times and budgets.
• Train others in new processes.
• Read panel drawings and electrical schematics.
• Mount panel components using power and hand tools.
• Wire control panels per diagrams and schematics.
• Lay out PLCs, VFDs, and power/control devices.
• Maintain 5S and QA standards.
