Sigma Defense is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the preparation and revision of contracts in a contingent position awaiting award.

The role requires DoD environment experience, US citizenship, and a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Contracts, or Law. Responsibilities include proposal planning, negotiating terms, contract briefs, and ensuring compliance with government regulations; salary range is $140,000–$150,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 8 years of contracts administration experience in a DoD environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proposal planning and administration of contracts.
• Negotiate terms and conditions.
• Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.
• Prepare contract change notices and monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.
• Maintain an audit file for each contract.
• Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, contract specifications, and government regulations.
• Perform closing activities as needed.
• Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with government regulations.
