Job summary

Inovalon is seeking a Contracts and Legal Administration Manager to support the contracting function. You will draft, review, and negotiate routine contracts, while also handling contract administration and department operations.

The role requires 8+ years in contracts or related fields, healthcare contracting familiarity, and strong organizational skills. You will work closely with attorneys and business leaders in a hybrid environment at our Bowie, MD location.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in contracts management, administration, or legal operations.
• Experience drafting and reviewing routine commercial contracts.
• Healthcare contracting experience a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high volume.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including with executives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality first drafts of contracts, amendments, and related documents for attorney review.
• Lead negotiations on standard terms within Company positions.
• Prepare contract summaries and negotiation notes for leadership.
• Collaborate with attorneys on complex transactions and drive resolutions.
• Coordinate information gathering with business stakeholders for contract documents.
• Maintain contract retention and storage in company systems.
