Job summary

Lane Construction seeks a Vice President of Contracts Management in Charlotte, NC to lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution and administration. You will direct bid reviews, negotiate terms, and manage a team of contract managers to ensure compliant, cost-effective contracts.

The role collaborates with legal, finance, sales, procurement and operations to mitigate risk and align with policy and standards across complex civil projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 15 years of contract management experience preferred.
• Construction industry experience is required.
• Experience leading a team of contract managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversees end-to-end contract lifecycle from drafting to administration.
• Directs bid reviews for conformity to requirements and acceptable bids.
• Leads negotiations and development of contract terms.
• Directs analysis of contracts, costs, revenues, and obligations.
• Implements contract tracking to control expenditures for projects and operations.
• Advises management on contractual rights, obligations and risks.
• Directs amendments, extensions, and renegotiations of contracts.
• Mentors and evaluates contract staff; drives process improvements.
• Collaborates with legal, finance, sales, procurement and operations.
