Job summary

Mineralys Therapeutics, a fully remote clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Director, Contracts Counsel to lead the drafting, negotiation, and management of commercial, clinical, research, and operational agreements that support the company's strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this role requires strong contract negotiation and drafting skills, business judgment, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience or equivalent law firm experience.
• Demonstrated expertise drafting and negotiating complex commercial, clinical, and operational agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of agreements including master services, consulting, confidentiality, license, and clinical trial agreements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to structure transactions and mitigate risk.
• Resolve disputes and drive improvements in contracting processes, templates, policies, and systems.
