Job description

Client is seeking a Senior Contracts & Claims Manager to support large CAPEX projects ($5M+), including greenfield and brownfield construction initiatives. This role is responsible for contract administration, commercial risk management, claims management, supplier relationships, and ensuring contractual compliance throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute contract and procurement strategies for CAPEX projects.
• Lead contract administration, change orders, contract extensions, and commercial negotiations.
• Manage contractor claims, dispute resolution, arbitration support, and risk mitigation activities.
• Review contracts, identify commercial risks, and protect company contractual rights and entitlements.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Project Management teams.
• Support supplier performance management, commercial audits, and contractor relationship management.
• Monitor project costs, contract variations, and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Legal Studies, Quantity Surveying, Cost Consulting, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in contract management, claims management, commercial management, or project controls within large CAPEX/construction projects.
• Experience with contract negotiations, change management, claims resolution, and dispute settlement.
• Experience working with EPC/EPCM contractors and major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial risk, cost control, and project execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, food, or other regulated industries is preferred.
