Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive sustainable improvements across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will lead 5S, Kaizen events, and cross-functional projects to optimize operations and build a culture of accountability and operational excellence. You will develop KPIs, monitor QMS processes, analyze data, and present findings to management, collaborating with multiple departments to reduce waste and raise performance using Lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience with IATF16949 and ISO9001 standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Strong project management and cross-department initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead 5S initiative and promote workplace organization, standardization, safety.
• Manage cross-functional projects to optimize operations and processes.
• Conduct studies on cost control, inventory, productivity, and records.
• Develop plans to improve methods and overall performance.
• Collaborate to implement opportunities that improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement activities.
• Lead multiple improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Apply data analysis to assess performance and guide decisions.
• Develop KPIs and monthly KPI reports with insights.
• Maintain QMS documentation including change control and customer feedback.
• Share best practices from Nippon and industry standards.
• Document before-and-after conditions to show impact.
• Prepare status reports for active and completed projects.
• Present findings to management with recommendations.
