Job summary

Ultra Maritime seeks an experienced operations leader to drive fabrication and assembly activities and manage a direct team. You will implement cost-saving process improvements and oversee day-to-day operations on our manufacturing floor.

The role requires troubleshooting, accurate time estimates for operations, and preparing operation sheets to boost efficiency. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience are expected; Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.

  • Experience overseeing fabrication and assembly operations.

Position Summary

Leads team in determining the operations required for fabrication and assembly of products as well as implementing cost- savings process improvements.

Job Description

Troubleshoots and resolves issues, estimating time requirements for operations, and preparing operation sheets. Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in the sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters in order to increase efficiency and cost savings.

Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 5+ years of related experience.
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
