Position Summary

AllenComm is seeking a full-time Senior Content Writer to support the development of high-quality learning and marketing content for enterprise clients and internal initiatives. This role is responsible for planning, writing, editing, and refining content across learning programs, digital experiences, proposals, and marketing materials while ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, project managers, and other creative professionals to deliver engaging, accurate, and learner-focused content.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, research, write, and edit content for learning programs, courses, websites, marketing materials, proposals, and client deliverables.

Develop content outlines and concepts that align with learning objectives, audience needs, and client goals.

Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.

Adapt writing style, tone, and messaging for different audiences, industries, and learning environments.

Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established style guidelines.

Conduct research to support accurate, relevant, and insight-driven content development.

Ensure written materials align with project requirements, client expectations, and brand standards.

Participate in content strategy discussions and contribute ideas for improving learning and communication outcomes.

Support proposal development and other business development content as needed.

Provide editorial guidance and feedback to other writers and project team members.

Manage multiple writing and editing projects while meeting established deadlines.

Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines and deliverables.

Contribute to continuous improvement of content development processes and standards.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in web content writing, copywriting, technical writing, instructional content, or a related field.

Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content development skills.

Experience developing content strategies and conducting research to support content initiatives.

Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, structure, and professional writing standards.

Ability to adapt tone, voice, and messaging for different audiences and communication channels.

Experience collaborating with instructional designers, project managers, subject matter experts, designers, and other cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Experience with learning and development, corporate training, educational content, or eLearning is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Instructional Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
