Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Content Strategist to own strategy, performance, and client-facing leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO, and conversions. This is a senior, hybrid role with involvement in sales calls, roadmaps, and cross-functional coordination.

You will oversee internal and external specialists, build performance roadmaps, and ensure campaigns deliver measurable outcomes while driving continuous improvement and QA across channels.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in PPC/SEO or multi-channel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Ability to articulate strategic recommendations to clients and account executives.
• Track record of overseeing execution teams and maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Build growth roadmaps for each client (90 days, 6 months, 12 months).
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and organic search.
• Audit campaigns, keyword strategies, bidding, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical SEO, on-page SEO, link building, and AI-driven content.
• Own KPI tracking and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and coordinate priorities with the marketing PM.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
