This role reports to the Manager, Training Design & Development. The primary purpose of the Senior Content Media Specialist position is to produce media that supports BGE's organizational goals for internal and external use including video, digital graphics design, animation, and photography. This role is focused on creating engaging media learning experiences and will produce, direct, shoot, edit and deliver visual media content for training, employee development, and other initiatives. This role will advise internal clients on best practices to leverage video, photographic and computer-based media solutions, to improve knowledge transfer, learner engagement, performance outcomes, and training effectiveness across the organization. Works closely with trainers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to develop learning content that supports employee performance and operational excellence.
Responsible for overseeing all elements of pre-production, production, and post-production for Content Media projects. Responsible for organizing and archiving media assets. Must focus on safety during productions and represent the company's safety culture in all interactions, meetings, and productions. Local travel as required.
Professional experience as part of a news gathering organization and/or production house.
