Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a SME - Software Developer in Quantico, VA, to upgrade NCIS applications for OCI-compliant containers and container-oriented architectures. This onsite role supports design, development, patches, and documentation across multiple frameworks.

The candidate will work with SQL Server, SharePoint, Oracle, ServiceNow, .NET, Java, and Python, and contribute to containerization efforts using DockerFiles and IaC practices. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI required.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint, Oracle Database, ServiceNow, .Net, Java, Python and related frameworks.
• Experience developing apps for containerization and IaC (DockerFiles).

Responsibilities

• Designs and codes applications following specifications using appropriate tools.
• Maintains and modifies existing software applications.
• Analyzes input/output requirements, information flow, hardware/software needs, and alternative solutions.
• Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
• Participates in code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
• Writes or revises program documentation and user guides.
