Qualifications

• 8+ years of forecasting, data analytics, statistical work, reporting or quantitative research.
• Programming skills (SQL, SAS, Python).
• Proficiency with visualization tools / telling a story with data (Tableau, MS Excel & PowerPoint).
• Experience in Collections, Credit, Risk, or Financial Operations with demonstrated track record of generating and communicating insights which improve performance and understanding.
• Strong business & financial acumen, including Consumer experience (Card, Auto, Home Loans).
• Attention to detail coupled with ability to simplify the complex.
• Experience in data science and analysis, with excellent analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions.
• Strong written/oral communication skills, with the ability to adjust to both technical and executive audience.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance.
• Coaches and mentors peers to improve proficiency in a variety of systems and serves as a subject matter expert on multiple business and technical-related topics.
• Identifies business trends based on economic and portfolio conditions and communicates findings to senior management.
• Supports execution of large scale projects, such as platform conversions or new project integrations by conducting advanced reporting and drawing analytics based insights.
