ANM is a leading IT solutions provider helping organizations secure, connect, and transform their technology environments. The Senior Security Consulting Engineer partners with customers to translate business needs into world-class security solutions from discovery to project closure.

You will work with ANM’s Technical Leads and PMO to deploy Palo Alto and Cisco security products, stay ahead of threats, and deliver value across security domains in a fast-paced consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in a related field.
• 5+ years in security architecture across multiple domains.
• Strong Cisco Security design, support, configuration and implementation.
• Palo Alto experience in PAN Security products.
• CCNP-Security, Security+, CEH or equivalent certifications.
• Hands-on with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN and security logging.
• Knowledge of SSAE16 / SOC II, PCI, HIPAA controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions across multiple security domains and technologies.
• Work with customers to identify business requirements and apply security solutions to reduce risk.
• Create and implement security configurations per project plans and document diagrams and support information.
• Configure Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma SASE, and Prisma Cloud.
• Configure Cisco Firewall FTD and ISE environments.
• Analyze and diagnose complex network and information security issues.
• Apply analytical knowledge to solve moderately difficult problems.
• Stay current on evolving threats and provide expert-level guidance to customers.
• Leverage lab environments to recreate and resolve problems.

The Role

The Senior Security Consulting Engineer is responsible for working with ANM customers to identify their business and technical security requirements to design and implement world-class security solutions. This position requires a blend of technical competence and customer service skills to successfully run a Professional Services engagement from discovery to project closure. You will work with ANM’s Technical Leads, Project Management Office, and industry-leading technologies to implement optimal solutions and deliver value to our customers

What You Will Do

• Design and implement security solutions across multiple security domains and technologies
• Work closely with customers to identify and understand their business requirements and apply relevant security solutions to reduce their overall security risk
• Create and implement security configurations following documented project plans. Create customer documentation including as-built documentation, diagrams, and support information
• Design, Configure, and Implement Palo Alto Security: Firewall, Prisma SASE, Prisma Cloud (desired)
• Design, Configure, and Implement Cisco Firewall FTD
• Design, Configure, and implement Advanced Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Environments.
• Perform analysis and diagnose complex network and information security system problems
• Apply analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve problems that are moderate - difficult in complexity
• Utilize knowledge of technology, products, and services to build enterprise security solutions
• Invest time in security research, stay up to date on current and evolving threats, and continue education in learning and providing expert-level advice on security solutions across multiple domains and technologies
• Effectively utilize lab setups to learn recreate and solve problems

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or 8+ years of experience in a related field
• 5+ years of experience working in security architecture, operations, design, or development across multiple domains in Information Security.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.
• Strong Cisco background with the ability to design, support, configure, and implement Cisco Security products.
• Strong Palo Alto experience in PAN Security products.
• CCNP-Security, Security +, CEH, and or other relevant security certifications
• Hands-on experience with key security technologies, including Firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, Remote Access, Security Logging, Rapid Threat Containment Solutions, and Network Security Orchestration tools
• Understand and have the ability to implement controls for common compliance requirements including SSAE16 / SOC II, PCI, HIPAA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences

Preferred:

• CCNP Security required
• CCIE Security and/or CISSP Desired
• Advanced experience with Cisco FW and Palo Alto FW Required
• A minimum of 7 years of information security-related work experience, including consulting experience in the cyber security field
• Strong communication/presentation skills and professional appearance/demeanor with the ability to interact with client personnel in both technical and leadership roles

Travel is occasionally required for this position. Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
