Job summary

Clearsulting in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Senior Consulting Analyst, ESG (Workiva) to help drive ESG implementations. Hybrid or Remote work options are available, with about 8 in-person days per month within a 45-minute radius of a Clearsulting office and travel up to 20%.

You will support engagements, document processes, and develop deliverables while collaborating with clients and project teams to meet reporting needs and ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting, ESG reporting, financial reporting, compliance, technology implementation, or related experience.
• Experience with Workiva, particularly ESG, GRC, or Financial Reporting solutions.
• Experience supporting one or more full lifecycle system implementations.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards (GRI, SASB, ISSB, CSRD/ESRS, TCFD).
• Understanding SDLC methodologies including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of ESG implementation engagements by assisting with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with clients and project team members to document business processes and reporting requirements.
• Develop project deliverables, including functional documentation, status reports, testing materials, and training resources.
• Assist in conducting client workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings to gather information and communicate project updates.
• Monitor project milestones, manage assigned workstreams, and identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Research evolving ESG regulations, reporting standards, and industry trends to support client recommendations.
• Stay informed on Workiva platform capabilities and certification requirements to support client implementations.

Location:

• Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
• Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
• Travel Expectations: Up to 20%

What you'll do

What You'll Bring:

• 3+years of consulting, ESG reporting, financial reporting, compliance, technology implementation, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Sustainability, Information Systems, ora related field.
• Experience with Workiva, particularly ESG, GRC, or Financial Reporting solutions.
• Experience supporting one or more full lifecycle system implementations.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards, including GRI, SASB Standards, ISSB, CSRD/ESRS, TCFD, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity supporting ESG disclosure questionnaires and reporting programs, such as CDP,EcoVadis, S&P Global CSA, MSCI, Sustainalytics, or similar sustainability assessments
• UnderstandingofSystem Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements gathering, testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Experience tracking project milestones, managing action items, and supporting stakeholder communications.
• Exposure tosustainability reporting, ESG programs, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, or regulatory reporting requirements.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

The compensation range for this position is $84,000-$110,00 USD. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our bonus program.
