Job summary

Clearsulting LLC is seeking a Senior Consulting Analyst in the Dallas area to drive end-to-end finance transformation projects. You will own workstreams, design future-state solutions, and deliver client-ready artifacts across multiple financial domains.

Team members operate in a hybrid or remote setup with normal in-person days to sync on client engagements. The role requires 3+ years in consulting/finance and strong MS Office skills, plus authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience applying consulting, finance, accounting, operations, risk or technology skills to solve business problems in a professional services or industry environment.
• Exposure to financial close and reporting, procure-to-pay or source-to-pay, accounting operations, internal controls, data and analytics, technology implementation, process improvement, or organizational change.
• 2+ years of experience with project management and change management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new business processes, industries, and technologies quickly and apply that knowledge in ambiguous or changing client environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the end-to-end finance transformation lifecycle, including current-state assessment, requirements gathering, future-state process and solution design, configuration or development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Own assigned workstreams and client-ready deliverables by planning activities, facilitating sessions, coordinating stakeholders, tracking progress and risks, and producing documentation and training materials.
• Analyze current-state processes, data, controls, and technology to identify root causes, evaluate improvements, and develop data-informed recommendations balancing business needs, risk, and feasibility.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, communicate progress and risks, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to create additional value.
• Work toward becoming a subject matter expert in financial close, procure-to-pay or business advisory; work with Blackline, Coupa, Alteryx, Microsoft Fabric, Rossum, Savant Labs and others.
• Contribute to Clearsulting’s growth by sharing knowledge, developing reusable tools and methodologies and supporting internal initiatives.
• Review the work of analysts, provide actionable feedback, and share practical approaches that strengthen capability.

Role:

Senior Consulting Analyst

Location:

• Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
• Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.

What you'll do

• Contribute to Clearsulting’s growth by sharing knowledge, developing reusable tools and methodologies and supporting internal initiatives.
• Review the work of analysts, provide actionable feedback, and share practical approaches that strengthen individual and team capability.

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of experience applying consulting, finance, accounting (Audit/Tax), operations, risk or technology skills to solve business problems in a professional services or industry environment.
• Exposure to one or more relevant areas, such as financial close and reporting, procure-to-pay or source-to-pay, accounting operations, internal controls, data and analytics, technology implementation, process improvement, or organizational change.
• 2+ years of experience with project management and change management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new business processes, industries, and technologies quickly and apply that knowledge in ambiguous or changing client environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The compe nsation range for this position is $84,000 - 110,000. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our bonus program.
