Job Description Summary
We are the makers of possible. Join us to be part of a remote team that supports learning, growth, and innovation. The role is REMOTE and will support SDS (Solution Deployment and Services) readiness for all new product and software releases.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple new product and sustaining release projects simultaneously using project management methodologies (scope, tollgate, risk & change).
- Develop and execute comprehensive readiness (Implementation and Support) plans that meet business objectives and support customer expectations.
- Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of project management in regards to key organizational, process and technology change levers to align resources and operations with business objectives.
- Drive SDS readiness activities and processes with product core teams and cross‑functional extended project teams.
- Define, drive and deliver clear, measurable commercial release entrance and exit criteria.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing extended team, provide meaningful input into annual reviews, and develop a solid network at all levels of the organization.
- Create presentations and deliver concise recommendations to management, articulating the project’s impact to stakeholders and partnering on plans to manage project impact, including training, communication and risk management.
- Gather requirements, define and document business processes/procedures using workflow modeling techniques, analyze data and recommend solutions to management and partner organizations.
- Use data insights, process knowledge and critical thinking to identify and validate readiness opportunities and develop business cases for readiness approach to optimize customer experience.
- Build relationships across functions and business units, mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and process design, and perform other duties as assigned.
Competencies
- Strategic thinking, execution, and partner with platform stakeholders to define detailed scope items and roadmap items for future versions.
- Project management, resource management, and expertise in BD GPDS (Global Product Development System).
- Leadership, people focus, and ability to develop a high‑performing extended team.
- Communication, presentation, and ability to challenge ideas constructively in private and public conversations across numerous roles and levels.
- Technical skills in Agile, LEAN, Six Sigma, CTQ, data insights, and SaaS/IaaS product release or Microsoft Azure/AWS.
- Administrative and other skills such as efficient matrix resource usage, entrepreneurial nature, comfort with ambiguity, and self‑starter mindset.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience developing and leading product strategy.
- 7 or more years of experience in project management and/or process improvement.
- Strong matrix management skills and experience managing cross‑functional projects in an iterative, fast‑paced environment.
- Agile and forward‑thinking mindset.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly advanced PowerPoint & Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, verbal, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership, group facilitation, and project management skills.
- Strong business operations/business process knowledge/experience.
Preferred Skills
- Previous readiness experience highly desired.
Remote Work
Role is REMOTE. Primary Work Location: USA CA – San Diego Bldg A & B. Additional Locations: Remote. Work Shift: Remote. BD requires a minimum of 4 days in‑office per week for most roles, but remote or field‑based positions will have different workplace arrangements.
Benefits
Salary range: $109,700 – $180,800 USD Annual.
