Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting LLC is seeking a Procurement Transformation advisor to help clients optimize Source-to-Pay processes and implement AI-enabled solutions. You will lead strategy, RFPs, and program management, delivering data-driven business cases and stakeholder alignment across procurement and finance functions.

You will work with experienced leaders, support thought leadership, and contribute to practice growth while embracing compliant AI tools and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional services consulting experience; Big 4/top-tier preferred.
• Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Management, P2P, cost analysis, risk management, and basic financial modeling.
• Comfort leading moderately complex client sessions and presentations.
• Foundational client relationship management with sales exposure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with BI tools is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Support a wide range of Procurement Transformation projects, encompassing Source-to-Pay technology strategy and selection, purchasing process improvement, operations performance enhancement, change management, program and project management, AI and data analytics
• Deliver strategic sourcing events for clients' spend categories, analyzing spend, developing strategies, conducting RFPs, evaluating bid responses, building business cases, and winning stakeholder alignment to our proposed outcomes
• Help organizations identify and analyze business challenges to improve procurement operations and their connection to finance and accounting
• Contribute knowledge and best practices pertaining to critical business processes across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle
• Support client's Procurement operations assessments and identify transformative change initiatives through detailed procurement analysis, including but not limited to: supplier spend, vendor master data, category savings identification, buy-pay channels, process & compliance management
• Drive third-party spend analyses and reviews against other internal and external data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, which are translated into category strategies for cost savings
• Lead workstreams contributing to maturity assessments across procurement capabilities, processes, and general operations
• Build procurement opportunities into prioritization frameworks and transformation roadmaps
• Develop data-driven business cases for transformational change programs
• Assess and escape project issues, risks, or conflicts to leadership, proactively suggesting resolutions to ensure smooth project completion
• Support internal initiatives, thought leadership, or other practice-building activities
• Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
• Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of professional services consulting experience required; Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm background preferred.
• Additional industry experience within a strategic sourcing or procurement function is a strong plus
• Knowledge of the following concepts: Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Management, Procure-to-Pay Process, Item Cost Analysis, Supply Chain Risk Management, Basic Financial Modeling, Accounts Payable, Process Optimization, Change Management, Performance Improvement, Project Management
• Comfort and effectiveness leading moderately complex client working sessions and presentations
• Foundational client relationship management skills with a strong desire to be part of the sales process
• Proficiency using the Microsoft Suite, and prior experience using one or more of the following tools: Tableau, Lucid Software, and/or Power BI is preferred
• Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies, including AI and automation, in alignment with firm policies and client standards
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, supply chain or procurement designations or external certifications are preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed upon client request
