We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Outsourced Accounting Team. You will work directly with our clients to provide customized accounting services to support them as they manage and grow their business or organization. In this role, you will work independently on assigned client files via remote cloud applications, collaboratively with Outsourced Accounting team members, and be supervised by the Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting and financial services for our clients, including processing transactions, reviewing staff work, complex account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and supporting our clients’ existing accounting functions. Crucial to this role is the ability to independently identify problem areas early, research technical issues, and proactively resolve issues as an outsourced member of the clients’ accounting services team.

What work you will be responsible for:

Basic qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field required.
• 3+ years of relative work experience as a Staff or Senior accountant or equivalent.

Preferred/Desired qualifications:

• Proficiency and aptitude for applicable software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
• Aptitude for developing and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of accounting software and systems.
• QuickBooks or Sage Intacct experience is preferred.
• Experience or training with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Intacct, Bill.com or others Prior experience in the Nonpeodit industry is strong preferred but not required.
• Strong organization skills/goal orientation/self-motivation.
• Ability to handle multiple client files and deadlines at one time.
• Ability to handle pressure in a positive professional manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Communication that is clear, concise, and considerate of the needs of others.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and value the different contributions people make.

For Minnesota and Illinois, the expected salary range for this position is between $73,000 and $127,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
