Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned life sciences consultant to lead quantitative and qualitative analyses for MedTech clients in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate workstreams, guide junior staff, and present findings to project managers and leadership to inform recommendations.

The ideal candidate holds an MBA with a life science focus (or advanced degree) and at least five years in consulting or related life sciences roles, with prior MedTech experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in quantitative, health sciences, or related fields.
MBA with a life science focus or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in consulting or relevant life sciences industry areas.
Prior work in a MedTech or medical devices-focused role.
Desire and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm for collaborative, team-based work.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of the MedTech, medical devices, and/or diagnostics industry, including product development, commercialization, market access, reimbursement, pricing, and go-to-market strategies

Responsibilities

Lead analysis of secondary and primary data to generate meaningful qualitative and quantitative insights and recommendations for clients.
Serve as a workstream lead, coordinating and guiding junior staff while communicating with project managers and leadership.
Create and present client-ready research materials, interim deliverables, and final project reports.
Train and mentor junior staff on project case teams, internal training efforts, and formal mentorship programs.
Gain recognition as the internal expert in 1-2 functional or therapeutic areas
