Job summary

North Highland, a leading change and transformation consultancy, seeks a Senior Consultant in its Strategic Program Management practice to help move vision to value on client programs.

You will lead work streams, manage stakeholders across business, technology, and data, and contribute to business development while traveling on-site with prestigious clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at various stages of completion.
• Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of technologies including applications and databases.
• Proficiency in MS Office suites (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency with project planning tools (MS Project, Jira, VersionOne, Aha!).
• Willingness to travel to meet client requirements.

IDEALLY, WE’D LIKE:

• 3+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at various stages of completion.
• Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Industry experience is a preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of various technologies including applications and databases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suites of products (i.e.Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrated proficiency in use of project planning tools (MS Project, Jira, Version One, Aha!, etc.).
• Proven success delivering projects in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments.
• The ability to travel to fulfill client requirements and project needs, and for personal development.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, including an excellent ability to uncover new opportunities for account growth and impact.
• An ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates.
• A demonstrated track record of successfully working on large, complex consulting engagements, including roles that involved managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives and the community at large.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• A master’s degree and/or applicable professional certifications are bonuses.
• Project Management Certification (CAPM or PMP) is a plus.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland.
