FTI Consulting, a leading global expert firm, is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Transactions Financial Due Diligence team within Corporate Finance & Restructuring. You will evaluate financial information, prepare schedules for client delivery, and support deal valuation throughout the deal continuum.

You will work with clients and internal teams, leveraging your financial modeling and accounting expertise to guide insights and recommendations across various industries.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Informational Systems, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of post-graduate professional experience in accounting, audit or finance
• CPA certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements
• Experience with the financial due diligence process and financial modeling
• Experience with transactions advisory

• Provide support and direction to maintain communication with clients and staff members on engagements, while updating senior team members on progress and issues

About the Role

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our growing Transactions Financial Due Diligence team. Our Financial Due Diligence team is aligned with FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization.

In FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization, we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional opportunities faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders. The Transactions Financial Due Diligence team offers competitive advice and support by evaluating the risk/return considerations in all stages of the deal continuum.

Areas of focus include:

• Quality of Earnings (EBITDA)
• Working Capital, Quality of Net Assets
• Forecast, Debt and Debt Like Items
• Customer/Product/Channel/Category sales and margins, inventory costing and bill of materials.

What You'll Do

The Senior Consultant collaborates with our clients and internal project teams across the entire deal life cycle. You will use your strategic style, cross-functional expertise, and deal skills to:

• Provide financial and accounting related consulting services in the Corporate Finance practice areas
• Prepare, review, and evaluate historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow and deal valuation
• Perform industry and company research and assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
• Provide support and direction to maintain communication with clients and staff members on engagements, while updating senior team members on progress and issues
• Network and build internal relationships with members of the Transaction team and other FTI Consulting service areas

What You Will Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Informational Systems, Economics, or related field of study
• 3+ year of post-graduate professional experience in accounting, audit or finance
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position will not sponsor applicant for work visas

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements
• Experience with the financial due diligence process and financial modeling
• Experience with transactions advisory
• Client or industry experience in one or more of the following: Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Technology, Media, or Energy
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and full MS Office suite

Compensation

• Minimum Pay: $78,500
• Maximum Pay: $163,000

Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual's location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
