Baker Tilly US is seeking a Senior Consultant to collaborate with developers, investors, lenders, public-sector entities, and other market participants on energy and infrastructure projects. Qualifications

  • 4-year degree is required.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in finance, consulting, or energy sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance or energy tax incentives preferred.
  • Familiarity with energy tax credits, tax credit transfers, tax equity, or Inflation Reduction Act is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support energy tax credit advisory engagements, including reviews of project eligibility, credit calculations, and supporting documentation.
  • Support a range of energy and infrastructure transactions and financing activities, including tax credit transfers, tax equity investments, project financing, acquisitions, and sales processes.
  • Develop project financial models to support client project evaluation and financing activities.
  • Perform financial and commercial due diligence for energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Participate in client meetings, diligence calls, and interviews with project stakeholders.
  • Assist with proposals, presentations, and market research.
  • Assist in development of articles, sales proposals and presentations for new business development and client purposes.

Senior Consultant On this team, you will work with developers, investors, lenders, public-sector entities, and other market participants on a variety of energy and infrastructure projects. You will support engagements involving federal energy tax incentives, tax credit transactions, project financial model development, project finance advisory, and transaction due diligence.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 4-year degree
  • 3 years professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, supply chain, engineering or manufacturing-related field
  • Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance, transaction advisory, or energy tax incentives
  • Familiarity with energy tax credits, tax credit transfers, tax equity, or the Inflation Reduction Act
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
  • Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience building financial models incorporating income statements and cash flows to support business decisions
  • Experience with core financial processes (e.g. monthly close, financial reporting)

The US National pay rate range for this job position is $84,000-$164,300. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
