Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant for its Dispute Advisory Services in the United States. You will supervise day-to-day forensic and litigation projects, perform detailed research, and apply valuation, accounting, and financial analysis to client matters.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a degree in accounting/finance/economics, strong Excel modeling, and US work authorization. Travel to client sites and offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant post-graduate professional experience in finance, accounting, tax, or audit.
• Understanding of valuation, accounting, finance, and economics principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong Excel financial modeling skills.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform day-to-day activities in support of forensic and litigation consulting projects including interaction with other FTI team members, client personnel, and professionals from other firms involved in the engagement.
• Perform technical, industry, and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information, develop work plans and execute analyses to assess complex unstructured problems, assist in preparing reports and schedules summarizing findings that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
• Applies economic, financial, valuation, and analytical skills to various client situations, specific to client needs.
• Prepares written presentations, exhibits, and other reports for third parties on the project scope and/or results of activities.
• Maintain detailed analyses reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks.
• Supervise analyses of junior team members.
• Work with senior professionals on practice management, business development, and internal training efforts.
