Imperium Construction Services seeks a Construction Superintendent with 5+ years of experience to lead daily field operations on commercial and retail interior projects in NYC. You will work with the Project Manager and Director to deliver safely, on schedule, and to Imperium’s quality standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors, review drawings, manage safety, and maintain quality while keeping Procore logs and progress photos up to date.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial/retail interior projects.
• Ability to independently manage multiple trades and schedules.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and MEP drawings.
• Carpentry background preferred, especially framing and interior finishes.
• Experience working in NYC buildings, coordinating with landlords, building management, and inspectors.
• OSHA 62-hour Supervisor SST training required.
• Working knowledge of Procore; scheduling experience with MS Project is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Own daily site operations: Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, deliveries, and work areas.
• Drive the schedule: Maintain a two-week lookahead, confirm manpower and material commitments, and address obstacles before they affect milestones.
• Understand the work: Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and submittals; identify conflicts needing clarification.
• Maintain quality: Verify layout, coordination, workmanship, and protection of completed work; manage punch lists and deficiencies.
• Lead site safety: Enforce safety requirements, conduct toolbox talks, maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
• Communicate and document: Keep accurate Procore daily logs, progress photos, manpower records, and field updates; report delays and scope changes.
• Manage logistics: Coordinate access, deliveries, shutdowns, noise restrictions for occupied spaces and off-hours work.
• Finish strong: Schedule inspections, complete punch-list work, and support turnover and closeout.
