Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a 4-year college, or five (5) years of related commercial construction industry experience.
Familiar with ICBO, ASTM, ANSI, ACI, UMC standards.
Ability to solve practical problems and examine a variety of tangible variables.
Responsibilities
Plan project elements/divisions based on Owner and Sub Contractor contracts.
Read and comprehend blueprints for discussions with stakeholders.
Develop and train project teams including engineers and laborers.
Assist with estimating and perform quantity take-offs.
Skills
Ability to read and analyze construction documents
Effective communication with Managers and Vendors
Problem-solving skills
Education
