Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field supervision and drive project execution. The role involves directing craft personnel, coordinating with engineers and subcontractors, and maintaining schedules across East Coast projects from multiple bases.

You will help ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery in a dynamic construction environment. Based out of markets like Washington DC, Homer City PA, or Aiken SC, the position offers extensive travel opportunities and a comprehensive

Qualifications

5+ years in construction with 3+ in supervision.
Experience in vertical building settings.
Knowledge of safety regulations and cost control.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide supervisory direction of craft personnel and manage productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence.
Act as liaison between field engineering and project craft to ensure drawings and specs compliance.
Coordinate with other superintendents, subcontractors, and Kiewit staff to maintain workflow and schedule.
Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties; inform management as appropriate.
Assist in schedule planning, determine labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
Ensure safety, attendance, and workplace behavior policies are followed.
