SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist, Construction (Starship) in Starbase, TX to lead sourcing and contract management for construction projects. You will develop strategies, manage supplier performance, and drive cost reductions while collaborating with internal stakeholders and the legal team.

The role requires advancing with procurement leadership, contract negotiation, and a focus on cost optimization in a fast-moving space program environment.

Formación

• Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process for construction projects.
• Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet purchasing targets, including payment terms and cost savings.
• Develop stakeholder relationships to optimize value and drive cost reductions.
• Communicate and drive compliance to category strategies; identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Perform analyses to identify financial impacts, improvements, and performance for assigned categories.
• Define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and measure delivery, cost reduction, quality, and timeliness.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and supplier market analysis.
• Create contracts with legal collaboration and manage supplier performance.
• Drive year-over-year cost optimization by reducing usage and waste.
• Identify and establish preferred suppliers; optimize procurement processes from PO to pay.
