Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-time professional construction safety management experience.
• OSHA 500 and 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred.
• Professional Safety Certification from BCSP encouraged.
• Licensed Safety Professional (NASP) and related certifications valued.
• CIH or other industrial hygiene credentials recognized.

Responsibilities

• Conducts construction site safety audits to identify improper procedures and recommends corrective actions.
• Monitors safety policies and programs across multiple construction projects.
• Investigates accidents to determine root cause and implement hazard controls.
• Performs environmental and health tests (noise, ventilation, gas) and advises on risk mitigation.
• Trains Project Managers and site staff on safety procedures and reporting.
