Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety operations on commercial construction projects in Forsythe, GA, ensuring OSHA compliance and best safety practices. You will drive a culture where safety is a core value and oversee subcontractors, safety meetings, and site inspections.

The role requires 7+ years of construction safety experience, a related degree, and strong communication skills. OSHA 510/500 and CHST/CSP are a plus, with MS Office proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience.
• Degree in a safety related field preferred.
• OSHA 510 and/or 500 a plus.
• CHST or CSP preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Daily safety audits and inspections.
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors.
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation.
