Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned EHS professional to develop, review, and manage project-specific EHS plans aligned with the Global Construction Safety Policy and OSHA regulations. You will oversee risk controls for high-risk activities and coordinate with contractors at client sites.

The role requires 10+ years in construction/safety, 3+ years in senior safety or design management, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in construction/safety management, preferably within a data center or mission critical facilities.
  • 3+ years of senior level safety management or design management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and manage project-specific EHS Plans aligned with the Global Construction Safety Policy and OSHA regulations.
  • Oversee prevention strategies and controls for high-risk activities (e.g., working at heights, electrical work, confined space).
  • Ensure risk assessments are conducted at all levels and integrated into schedules and planning.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and oversee HRA controls, documenting findings and corrective actions.
  • Investigate and report all incidents, injuries, and near-misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Lead weekly safety meetings, participate in safety committees, and foster a positive safety culture.
  • Prepare and submit monthly safety management reports.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and the Owner to verify compliance and participate in meetings.
  • Deliver safety orientation and ensure effective training communication for a diverse workforce.
  • Certify and sign off on the project-specific EHS Plan's compliance alongside senior site managers.
