Job summary

Gibraltar Fabrication is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager for Brownsville, TX. You will implement the project QC program, oversee inspections, and coordinate with project leadership to maintain quality on a major construction site.

You will ensure documentation, test results, and compliance records are accurate and readily available, while guiding corrective actions with project teams and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years construction experience.
• Experience on at least two federal design-build projects.
• CQCM on projects valued at $10 million or more.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the project Quality Control Plan per contract requirements.
• Conduct and document required quality control inspections, testing, and verification.
• Coordinate with project management, field supervisors, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Monitor activities to ensure compliance with plans and regulations.
• Maintain QC documentation including inspection reports and test results.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Participate in preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections as required.
• Maintain communication with project stakeholders regarding QC activities.
• Ensure QC documentation is complete, organized, and review-ready.
