Job summary

PLM Paving & Concrete in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Project Manager to own projects from opportunity to final billing. You will partner with sales, evaluate customer needs, develop scopes and estimates, and coordinate people and resources to deliver profitable projects.

This role requires construction judgment, organization, accountability, and the ability to lead multiple projects; strong customer communication is essential. Prior PM experience in paving/construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success managing construction projects with scope, schedule, and cost.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field personnel, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from award through closeout and billing.
• Turn proposals into clear execution plans, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate customers, field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and site access.
• Maintain consistent customer communication and resolve field issues quickly.
• Monitor costs, production, schedules, and profitability while addressing risks.
• Identify scope changes, price changes, and approvals before extra work.
• Visit projects to review safety, quality, and compliance with scope.
• Compare estimates to actuals to improve future planning and pricing.
