Job summary

Consertus Puerto Rico is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator II to lead complex construction initiatives from planning through commissioning. The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of experience and a track record in regulated environments, with a hands-on leadership style.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee electromechanical systems, manage contractors, conduct site visits, and ensure safety, compliance, and timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10+ years in construction project management, preferably in industrial, institutional, or regulated environments.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams and complex project scopes.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, construction processes, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through all phases of construction projects.
• Oversee electromechanical systems design, installation, integration, and commissioning.
• Manage contractors, engineers, and vendors for safe, compliant execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and momentum.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and regulatory bodies for timely decisions.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies with proactive project controls.
• Drive continuous improvement and a culture of safety and accountability.
