Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Accountant for our transportation division in Miami, FL. You will oversee accounting for mega-projects, manage cost reports, and independently handle owner billings with project teams.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of construction accounting experience, with strong communication and analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy and on-time reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• At least 5 years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience managing mega-projects or large-scale cost reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process subcontracts, change orders, and bonds to ensure compliance.
• Collect, review, and process monthly subcontractor invoices and cost reports.
• Ensure proper accruals and timely owner billings.
• Monitor cash flow and communicate A/R status with project staff.
• Oversee accounting operations for mega-projects or multiple large projects.
