Job summary

Alliance Resource Group is seeking a Senior Project Accountant for a large commercial general contractor in San Clemente, CA. You will serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned projects, handling owner and subcontractor billings, lien releases, change orders, and payment coordination with operations.

You will work closely with Project Managers and the Controller to maintain project budgets, ensure accuracy across Procore and Sage, and support timely collections while improving billing

Qualifications

• Experience in project accounting for commercial construction.
• Familiarity with owner billings, change orders, lien releases.
• Proficiency with Sage, Procore, GC Pay.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and billing for 4–5 assigned construction projects.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly owner billings and track receivables; ensure accuracy before submission.
• Review subcontractor billings, lien releases, and payment activity; coordinate with GC Pay.
