Job summary

Marpac Construction in Seattle seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will drive schedules, budgets, procurement, and team performance while ensuring safety and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, or work equivalent experience.
• 5 years as a Project Manager for large-scale mixed-use and complex commercial construction.
• 5 years of preconstruction services for projects over $10M.
• 3 years of estimating experience.
• 5 years' experience with scheduling, procurement, budget control, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget, and contract compliance.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and documents for scope and risks.
• Prepare subcontractor scopes, bid packages, takeoffs, and procurement.
• Manage budgets, commitments, cost controls, and financial reporting.
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts and change orders.
• Lead project meetings and provide timely reporting.
• Develop schedules with Project Superintendent and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maintain productive relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and team members.
• Identify challenges early and develop practical solutions.
