Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial and residential projects in Delray Beach, FL. You will oversee from concept to completion, coordinate trades, review progress daily, and ensure safety and quality across all sites.

The role requires a bachelor’s in CM/CE or related field, 5+ years supervisory experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and proven leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in commercial and residential construction.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and building plans.
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety qualification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Review work progress on a daily basis, identifying any issues or delays and finding solutions to keep the project on track.
• Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are strictly followed on the construction site, promoting a culture of safety among team members.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications, ensuring the construction project aligns with the original design.
• Conduct quality control checks, inspecting the work of subcontractors to ensure it meets the project standards, codes, and specifications.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other construction professionals, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
