Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must have and be willing to maintain current basic level certifications and an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Field Activities: observe, test, sample and inspect materials on construction sites under guidance of senior technicians and project managers.
• Testing procedures: perform routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement following standards.
• Data collection: perform calculations and data reduction, prepare field reports documenting site observations.
• Communication: maintain daily communication with site contractors and project teams; attend project meetings as requested.
• Training and development: receive ECS methodology training and document findings per engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Field Activities: Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement on construction sites; Execute tasks based on project requirements under the guidance of other senior technicians, staff professionals, and project managers.
• Testing Procedures: Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement using various methodologies and testing equipment following industry standards and compliance.
• Data Collection: Perform calculations and data reduction based on sampling, test results, and inspections; Engage in drafting and other administrative duties as required; Develop skills in documentation and prepare field reports that document site observations for field work performed.
• Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers; Keep supervisor and project teams informed of changing site conditions and additional testing requested; Attend project meetings with senior staff as requested.
• Training and Development: Receive training in ECS methodology for project observations, inspections, and testing; Document findings with precision in accordance with accepted engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have and be willing to maintain current basic level certifications and an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Must provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Excellent understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.
• Proficiency with electronic devices such as phones, tablets, and laptops.
• Strong math skills with the ability to read maps, follow directions, and interpret engineering and construction plans.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

The expected pay range for this role and location is $21-$25/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
