Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the execution and delivery of a portfolio of Quick Commerce tenant improvement and conversion projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on managing General Contractors, vendors, and consultants from contractor award through substantial completion and turnover, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while adhering to budgets and operational standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant discipline work or construction/project management experience
• 5+ years negotiating construction, procurement and labor contracts
• 5+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience
• Degree in Architecture, Construction Management or Engineering
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Strong communication with executives

Responsibilities

• Own construction execution across a portfolio of Quick Commerce tenant improvement and conversion projects from contractor award through substantial completion and occupancy
• Manage General Contractors, vendors, and consultants to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety expectations
• Lead construction RFPs, bid leveling, contractor selection, and GMP development; present budgets and risks to leadership
• Establish and manage project budgets, schedules, scopes and milestones with internal/external stakeholders
• Serve as Amazon’s primary contact during construction and coordinate across teams and landlords
• Monitor progress via site visits, OAC meetings, schedule reviews and milestone tracking
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and unforeseen conditions while controlling costs
• Coordinate resolution of MEP, life safety, permitting, inspections and jurisdictional issues impacting delivery
• Lead project closeout, commissioning, punch lists and operational turnover
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and shorten timelines across the portfolio
